Wrapped in a cloak of deeply dark garnet, this vino emits scents of ripe blackberries, currants & dried black plums. These aromas carry through to the palate, where they are joined with touches of ripe blueberries and cocoa. The finish is smooth, clean & non-cloying, with whispers of roasted walnuts & bittersweet tangerine marmalade. Not overly sweet, the wine surprises many not normally fans of sweeter wines.
SUGGESTED FOOD PAIRINGS: Fares quite well as a heavier aperitif and of course with many desserts. Perhaps a fudge brownie adorned with raspberry sauce and a touch of crème fraíche.
